GOODBYE 2010...YOU WERE THE BEST

Well, this is it. We ended 2010 off with a bang by having a baby. Our best moment yet. He is beautiful and perfect and a complete time waster because all we want to do is hold him or stare at him. He came with masses of dark hair and it's only gotten longer in five weeks. Here he is fresh from the bath.

It's amazing how a person's perspective instantly changes. I'm so in love with this kid it still makes me cry. I've become a real crybaby; but only about happy stuff. I'm so lucky.

Oh, and for the record, all those people who said kidney stones were worse than giving birth, lied...

What a VERY handsome boy!!!! He is honestly so adorable!!! I love all the hair!

Okay, when I saw you on the bathroom floor at work, curled up in pain, I was hoping it was true that kidney stones were more painful than giving birth...but at least the birthing of a baby has an amazing outcome rather than little shriveled pointy kidney stones! ; )

Truly- what a beautiful little Casey boy!!!!

Oh ya, the bathroom floor. It could be that I'm just forgetting the kidney stone pain, but I'm pretty sure I'm not. :)

Oh, he is beautiful! Really, a lovely looking boy. I can't speak, yet, to his personality since I haven't met him. I'll remain skeptical until I can judge in person...

(They do make a cry baby out of you, though! They set up home on your heart.)

What a cutie!!! and I'm loving the hair...

And I am cracking up about the kidney stone note, but only because I knew you would have to set the record straight. On the other hand, maybe I shouldn't have read it!

Babies are never a waste of time. And they grow so fast that taking time to stare at them now (before they can run out of your line of sight) is an absolute MUST!

Patti, He is absolutely beautiful! I cannot believe all that hair! Don't worry about being weepy, just enjoy every second of that little one and cherish it. I wish they blogs when my kids were little - would have made telling their story much easier.

As for the kidney stones, I cannot tell you, never had one. So did you go without an epidural? We really need to catch up!
